China's Ding Ning won table tennis gold at Rio 2016, beating compatriot Li Xiaoxia in a thrilling women's singles final.
Ding, who lost to Li in the final in London four years ago, came out on top of a final-game decider to win 4-3.
It is the 26-year-old two-time world champion's second Olympic gold having won the team title for China in 2012.
Meanwhile, Kim Song I won bronze for North Korea after with a 4-1 victory over Japan's Ai Fukuhara.
